Hey, In class we started presentations for the Sorrow of War. I finished mine today because I was absent last week and had a family emergency. It helped lisenting to other peoples ideas. I chose to do the trash can presentation.

Hey, Today in class we read the poem "Incident" by Countee Cullen. The main take away was that words have power. A single worfs can have a very long lasting impact on someone. The impact of the child that called the eigh year old that name is something that was tramatic. Going over what words can be hurtful to differnet people in different cultures i think was a good discussion. Some words may be more hurtful to others and its important to take others into considerstion.
