Hey, In class today we finished the assignment we started yesterday. I had a hard time trying to find specific quotes but worked with my group to finish it.

Hey, In class today we had an assignment on illuminate to find quotes. We analyized it and found the conlict and theme. The assignment went over time.

Hey, In class today we went over The Sorrow of War One-Pager and then read the pages up till 85. I have an idea of what I want to focus on but will think about it more after class and when I read the rest of the pages.

Hey, In class today we read the article My Dream Has Turned Into A Nightmare, an interview of Dr. Martin Luther King 5 years after the I have a dream speech. We then answered 5 Discussion questions and went over them in class. We did not read out book The Sorrow of Wars in class but I went ahead and started reading the next pages.

Hey, In class today we took our first quiz on The Sorrow of Wars playing kahoot. I missed 1/5. We then independtly read the part in the book where Kein finds the enemys who killed the girls. We then answerd the disscusion questions and turned them in on canvas.

Hey, In class Wednesday we wrote a paragraph summerizing the pages we read for homework and read more as a group and answered discusion questions .

Hey, In class today we started reading The Sorrow of War. (The first 8 pages) We were introduced to the main character Kien who is a Vietnamese solider and tell his story on what he saw during his time. For homework we will read about how his friends in the 27th Battalion die in the Jungle.

Hey, In class today we watched a information video on the Vietnam war and wrote down things we learned about the war. We were introduced to the text Sorrow of the War that we will be reading tommorow.
